US President Joe Biden fell off his bike during a ride in his home state Delaware on Saturday.

He took a fall on a crosswalk at 9.40 am Eastern Time (1340GMT) at Gordon's Pond State Park at Rehoboth Beach while stopping to meet a crowd.

"I'm good," Biden, who was wearing a helmet, told reporters after Secret Service surrounded him and he got up.

A White House official said the president's foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine.

"No medical attention is needed. The president looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family," said the official./aa
