Striving for Spiritual Peace
Many stand before a fundamental question in their lives, initiating a phase of searching for the answer and striving for spiritual peace.
Maxim's Journey to Islam
This is what happened with the 19-year-old Ukrainian youth, Maxim, who announced his conversion to Islam yesterday at the Mosque of Al-Iman, shortly before Friday prayer.
Maxim's Declaration of Faith
Maxim came to the Iman Mosque in the city of Zaporizhzhia with his father to declare the testimony of faith and embrace Islam.
The Father's Role
Sheikh Muhammad Mamoutov, the imam of the Iman Mosque, stated that the beautiful part of the story is that Maxim's father was honored by God with Islam in the same mosque 11 years ago. The father began to quietly talk to his son about the greatness of Islam, justice, and truth in Islam.
Research and Decision
After a period of research and gathering information about Islam, whether through the internet or by reading and studying it, Maxim informed his father of his desire to convert to Islam.
Celebration of Conversion
His father was very happy and took him to the Imam of the Al-Iman Mosque, Sheikh Mohammed Mamoutov, to testify before him and be honored by Allah with the greatness of Islam during the blessed month of Ramadan.
