The Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, has expressed concern over Israel's actions in Palestine, stating that the situation is only going to get worse. He believes that the Israeli government has crossed all boundaries and violated international laws.
Israel's Violations
Safadi emphasized that Israel's barbaric war on Gaza and its attempts to manipulate the narrative are unacceptable. He warned that the crimes committed by Israel in Gaza will have severe consequences and may lead to an explosion of the situation in the West Bank.
The Conflict and Hamas
Safadi clarified that Hamas did not create the conflict but rather emerged as a response to oppression, deprivation, and continued occupation. He highlighted the importance of understanding the root causes of the conflict.
Communication with Hamas
When asked about Jordan's stance on communicating with the political leadership of Hamas, Safadi stated that Jordan knows how to maintain its channels of communication. Their goal is to end the conflict by ensuring the rights of the Palestinian people are fully met.
Jordan's Response
In response to the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza, Jordan recalled its ambassador to Tel Aviv and refused to allow the Israeli ambassador to return to the Kingdom. The return of ambassadors will only happen when Israel stops its war and the humanitarian crisis it has caused.
The Devastating War on Gaza
For 39 days, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, resulting in a significant loss of life and injuries. Official Palestinian sources report 11,240 casualties, including thousands of children and women.
