In Arabic not in English the account of the Israeli Foreign Ministry posted a map claiming that parts of Palestine, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon are part of Israeli territory
The map, uploaded by the Arabic language account of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, showing Palestinian, Jordanian, Syrian, and Lebanese lands as part of Israel, reminded me of a beautiful poetic verse of a wise Arab woman more than 1400 of years ago in which she said:
تعدو الذئاب على من لا كلاب له وتتقي صولة المستأسد الضاري
Meaning wolves attack those who have no dogs. Throughout history, the only language the enemies understand is the language of force. The plans to divide and annex the Arab lands to the occupied Palestinian lands are not hidden anymore; they are even published in Arabic to those who don't understand English. This is how enemies deal with the weak, with those who have no reaction toward the ongoing genocide, with silent brothers on the killings of their own fellow brothers and sisters, who left children to be burnt alive with no sign of feelings of brotherhood or even of humanity, who left the bodies of babies evaporate of the strength of massive explosions with no word, with no action, who are the advocates of defeat and surrender.
Undoubtedly, the poetic verse of that Arab wise woman makes us realize and observe how the enemies deal with strong countries that don't allow aggressors to cross borders, if we take for instance countries that possess nuclear weapons and on the other hand with countries that accepted to surrender and chose to remain silent.
Israel has already examined the Arab reactions in Gaza and outside Gaza many a time; more than 15 months ago, a year ago, two months ago. Last November, an Israeli extremist settler leader called Daniella Weiss who heads the Nahala Settlement Movement, revealed Israel's plans of a 'biblical greater Israel', in a TV interview , and presented a map which shows parts of Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey as part of a 'greater Israel'.
Of course, the video raised serious questions as to whether Israel's invasion of Lebanon at that time, and attacks on neighboring countries in the region, stems from this plan.
In October 2024, many Israeli soldiers appeared wearing a uniform patch depicting the map of “Greater Israel” during operations in Gaza, the map showed the Israeli territory to include parts of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Turkey, with the whole of Jordan and Lebanon.
And in March 2023, Smotrich addressed an event in Paris while standing by a map of greater Israel portraying Jordan as part of the self-proclaimed Jewish state.
Israel examined the Arab reactions many times; and now it boldly posts its notorious plans on the account of the Israeli Foreign Ministry in Arabic. This is an Israeli coin that clearly shows the goal pursued by Israel. It is not the only map of Greater Israel. The Israeli fabricated maps extend from the Nile in Egypt to include the Sinai Peninsula, to the entire Lebanon, the entire Jordan, half of Syria, majority of Iraq, and some parts of Saudi Arabia, including Medina, all these lands are falsely claimed to belong to Israel.
Knowing how Israel operates should be a motivator for us to take actions. The first principle to deter an enemy is understanding the enemy, then deterrence must therefore be implemented.
But Arab countries only condemned the posting of maps by official Israeli accounts on social media, and this leads us to inquire; is condemnation only enough? Does this deter Israel? Of course, not, the inaction of the Muslim world will motivate and prompt Israel to kill more and more to invade and annex more and more of the Arab and Muslim lands.

The previous Israeli publication of these alleged maps coincided with Smotrich's statements in which he called for the annexation of the West Bank and settlement in Gaza. This time, the posting of these maps coincided with Trump threatening ‘hell’ for Gaza, if hostages are not released. They threaten “Hell”, amid the deafening silence of the Arab and Muslim world, without any action being taken to defend dignity and honor after the Israeli war criminals backed up by US and western allies, claimed the lives of 46000 Palestinian souls, 70 % of whom are women and children. If that’s the case of the Arab and Muslim world, then why the butchers of humanity stop their crimes, why stopping their crimes if they don’t find anyone to stop them.
The recent fabricated map did not include Egypt and other Arab countries
What astonished me is that the recent map did not include Egypt this time. It could be said that this has to do with the psychology of the defeat of Israel in 1973. Israelis felt defeated by the Egyptian military in the 10th of Ramadan war, or the war of Oct. 6, 1973. It wasn't just a defeat in battle but defeat of the false doctrine of the invincible army.
No doubt, that Egypt's military is still the largest and most powerful hurdle to Israeli dominance, despite the normalization of relations. In an interview with Yedioth Ahronoth on December 23, 2024, former Israeli ambassador to Cairo, David Govrin expressed his unease over Egypt’s expanding military capabilities, particularly its investments in defense spending. "Egypt views Israel as a threat due to its advanced military capabilities," Govrin said, noting that many Egyptians still regard “Israel” as a colonial power occupying Palestinian land.
Many Israeli writers and analysts viewed Egypt’s growing military capabilities with what they see as a “decline in Egypt’s commitment to the peace agreement” and its increasing rapprochement with countries hostile to “Israel,” such as Turkiye and Iran.
“We see a decline in Egypt’s commitment to the peace agreement, and its growing proximity to countries hostile to us, like Turkiye and even Iran,” Israeli columnist Yitzhak Brik wrote in Maariv on December 23, 2024, asking "Could we one day find ourselves in a war scenario with Egypt?"
This shows us that force plays an important role in deterrence, Israeli war criminals against whom the International Criminal Court, ICC issued arrest warrants, are deterred by force. They will not stop their non-ending crimes against humanity unless they see force, unless they see action, unless they find who stops them.
Unfortunately, the Arab and Muslim political order appears to be a marginal actor, helpless to influence events and developments in ways that might impose even a fleeting balance of power that can help civilian Palestinians in their confrontation with the brutal Israeli war machine supported by the strongest powers in the world. Arab and Muslim countries have even failed to stop the ongoing genocide and even to end the starvation of Palestinian children and babies in Gaza. Instead, the official positions chose to align with the Biden administration that adopts a messianic vision of Israeli supremacy.
From what has been mentioned above, we realize that we have only one option left, which is the option of resistance, to defend our existence, and put an end to the occupation. The only option left is to deter the enemy. Allah says in the holy Quran:
وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا مِن شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ

And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows.
