Muslims in India are deprived even of the minimum right to safety! From Gujarat to Delhi, and from Assam to Uttar Pradesh, Hindu extremists are organizing cleansing campaigns against Muslims everywhere.

The Ruling Party's "One Nation, One Religion" Agenda

The agenda of India's ruling party, the extremist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is to implement the concept of "One Nation... One Religion." India, which continues to express unwarranted concern about the so-called persecution of minorities in Bangladesh, has now become one of the worst regions in the world in terms of official persecution of minorities.

Widespread Persecution and Horrifying Evidence

In order to implement this anti-Muslim agenda, widespread persecution is practiced against Muslims throughout India. Recently, a documentary from "Middle East Monitor" revealed horrific scenes of this persecution.

Extremist Actions and Public Humiliation

Media reports have indicated that Hindu extremists are involved in heinous acts such as expelling Muslims from their homes, obstructing their business activities, and harassing veiled women in the streets. These actions culminated in Uttar Pradesh, where a video circulated on social media in the Muzaffarnagar area showed a man forcing a Muslim woman to remove her hijab in public, sparking a wave of intense anger among local Muslims.

Online Reactions and Calls for Solidarity

With the spread of numerous videos documenting the public persecution of Muslims in various regions of India, reactions flared among internet users. People in Bangladesh also expressed their strong anger towards the persecution of Muslims in India and called for a "March for India's Muslims," similar to the "March for Gaza."

The Incident of Farheen and Public Outrage

A video from Muzaffarnagar shows a man forcibly snatching the hijab from a woman named Farheen, while others verbally and physically abuse her. These scenes spread around the world, igniting waves of anger and condemnation.

State-Sponsored Persecution in Assam

The "Middle East Monitor" documentary also showed that the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, is persecuting Muslims under the guise of a security campaign, in line with his extremist Hindu ideology. Authorities have targeted Muslims through arbitrary arrests, demolished their homes, mosques, and religious schools, and detained thousands in detention camps where detainees are treated inhumanely.

Closure of Religious Schools and International Condemnation

In another context, more than 170 religious schools were closed in Uttarakhand, sparking strong condemnation from scholars in Bangladesh. The scholars considered this step a systematic attempt by the state to erase the cultural and religious identity of Muslims.

Scholarly Denunciation of Sectarianism and Hypocrisy

In a statement, they described these events as a stark embodiment of sectarian bigotry and religious hatred.

A Comparison with Bangladesh and Concerns About Double Standards

The scholars pointed out that in Bangladesh, where a spirit of coexistence prevails, such actions are unimaginable. They said that if 170 Hindu temples were closed in Bangladesh at once, and a senior official supported this move as a historic decision, international media, the United Nations, human rights organizations, and civil society would erupt in outrage.

State-Sponsored Violations and Lack of Accountability in India

However, in India, violations against Muslims are practiced under state sponsorship, where educational and religious institutions are closed, and laws are passed that violate the rights of Muslims regarding prayer, hijab, and Waqf properties, without any accountability.

Concerns About Selective Outrage in Bangladesh

Surprisingly, some intellectuals, media figures, and non-governmental organizations in Bangladesh overlook these violations, while exaggerating individual incidents in Bangladesh and falsely portraying them as sectarian violence, thus tarnishing the country's image on the international stage.

A Global Narrative War Against Islamic Identity Scholars believe that this is not just a double standard, but a global narrative war against Islamic identity. They express their strong condemnation of these practices and call on Muslims around the world, including scholars, thinkers, and organizations, to unite and be aware in the face of this sectarian aggression.

Social Media Calls for Action and Hindu Voices of Protest One Facebook user wrote: The voice against the persecution of Muslims in India must rise everywhere. Rise up, revolutionary youth of Bangladesh!

Anando Sagu wrote: Hindus in Bangladesh should speak out against the Waqf laws in India. The way Muslims are persecuted, their religious rituals are prevented, their schools are closed, and their religious structures are destroyed are matters that should be met with mass protests by Hindus in Bangladesh.

Further Calls for Hindu Solidarity and Condemnation Others added: India continues to persecute Muslims, yet we do not hear any voice from Hindus and Hindu organizations in Bangladesh. This is intolerable. They should take to the streets, carrying banners demanding the release of Chinmoy Prabhu and condemning the persecution of Muslims in India.

A Personal Testimony and a Plea for Global Awareness Abu Naser Tushar wrote, in a post accompanying a video showing the persecution of Muslims in India: In our country, accusations of attacks on non-Muslims were made after the events of August 5th, but no one was able to provide such video footage. We ask God to protect all people of all religions. A "March for India's Muslims" has now become an urgent necessity.
