“We are changing the map of the Middle East,” said the occupation Prime Minister “Benjamin Netanyahu” three years ago, boasting after some Arab countries normalized with the “Israeli” entity. The normalization list continues to welcome new participants, making “Netanyahu” believe that the normalization wheel, which he thought would besiege the Palestinian cause, will keep turning without any obstacles.

However, on October 7th, the resistance disrupted that wheel, bringing normalization to a halt. The Zionist enemy was left astonished and frustrated by the efforts and money spent for complete normalization with the Arab world.

Arab normalization trends with the Zionist entity were based on the idea that the “Israeli” presence is final, as a stated fact. “Israel's” existence as a state is derived from the support and sponsorship of major powers. Thus, the approach was to deal with the Palestinian file as merely a diplomatic matter, avoiding alternative means, as the occupier treats it as an existential conflict.

Arab countries couldn’t influence the Western stance to intervene decisively and ceasefire

This Arab approach created the basis for Arab-Zionist rapprochement that excludes Palestinian resistance from the equation. Some countries even classified “Hamas” as a terrorist movement. This Arab bloc close to the Zionist enemy blamed “Hamas” for the escalation, considering it the cause of the disasters in Gaza.

The “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation came to shatter the so-called myth of the invincible “Israeli” army and the dominance power in the Middle East, making the resistance's message to the Arab countries clear: is this entity, supported by the West, the power you feared and rushed to normalize with?!

As a result, there is no longer any justification for Arab regimes to abandon the option of resistance to reclaim rights, to argue against the military option's effectiveness, or to deny that strength can compel concessions from the entity. Therefore, even if the battle ends, and regardless of the attempts by the normalized states to resume the normalization process, they will not find a suitable formula to present the normalization idea to the Arab and Islamic masses.

The fierce resistance displayed by Palestinian factions against the Zionists has crushed the myth of “Israeli” force. Israel attempted to compensate for its losses and restore its prestige domestically and internationally by ruthlessly bombing civilians and demolishing homes, mosques, churches, and schools. They waged war against Palestinian hospitals in the Gaza Strip and destroyed the infrastructure.

The “veto” used by the United States and its allies in the Security Council to obstruct a resolution calling for a ceasefire is a denial of Arab partnership in the Palestinian cause. This means excluding Arab countries from the equation, as they have failed to push Western countries to adopt balanced positions regarding the aggression on Gaza.

This Zionist-Western disregard for Arab partnership will make the resumption of the normalization process difficult, as it has not preserved the dignity of Arab regimes in the eyes of their people. Normalization is fundamentally a collaborative formula, and its invalidity has been demonstrated during recent events.

The resistance did not just withstand the “Israeli” aggression, backed by the United States and its allies, but took the initiative and threatened “Israel” even while defending the Gaza Strip. Its extensive underground tunnels, extending 500 kilometers, presented a haunting nightmare for the “Israeli” enemy, which marched to Gaza to face its inevitable demise.

These events have reaffirmed the conviction among Arab masses of the necessity of resistance as the optimal choice in dealing with the “Israeli” occupation of Palestine, as the resistance has gained widespread popularity in Arab and Islamic countries.

These new conditions have positioned the Palestinian resistance as the stronger party that cannot be bypassed in any Arab “Israeli” talks. The strategic choice of the resistance has proven its effectiveness, and any Arab-Israeli agreement that excludes the Palestinians will enhance the legitimacy of the resistance and put Arab regimes in the dilemma of appearing as collaborators. Therefore, these regimes will reconsider the mechanisms and formula of normalization once again.

The battle of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” halted the normalization process after consecutive defeats inflicted on the “Israeli army.” It shattered its prestige, undermined its deterrence, and exposed its military, security, and intelligence vulnerabilities.

They witnessed the failure of normalization attempts with Arab and Islamic nations, realizing the centrality of the Palestinian cause in the hearts of the people.

Therefore, we affirm that the resistance in this battle has dealt a fatal blow to normalization. No matter how much some proponents of normalization try to resume it with the Zionists, it will inevitably never be in the same form, formula, mechanisms, or performance.
